Early Warning System

 

The Fleet Management Vigil GPS and GSM/GPRS product is installed with the Netstar Early Warning system as a secondary installation for back-up recovery purposes.

This back-up unit has all the Early Warning systems functionalities.

The system is supplied with a remote arming device. If the unit is armed, and any of the following events occur:

 

· Ignition is forced

· Vehicle is towed away

 

 

The unit will start to transmit a distress signal that the control centre will pick up either from the stationery position or from the moving vehicle. The advantage of having the Early Warning unit is that our control room will be able to immediately access where the vehicle is with the Fleet Management Vigil product right down to street level. The control centre will then attempt to contact you. If they cannot contact you, or if you are not sure of the status of the vehicle, then Netstar will respond and recover the vehicle. Netstar Early Warning has a unique concealed panic button. If this is activated then Netstar will receive a hijack panic signal enabling an emergency response to your vehicle.

Sleuth System

 

 

The Fleet Management Vigil GPS and GSM/GPRS product is installed with the Netstar Sleuth as a secondary installation for back-up recovery purposes. The Netstar Sleuth is an entry-level phone-in system, which is used as a recovery back-up unit to the Vigil product.
